Service Delivery

Successful IT deployments implement proven methodologies to deliver consistent and repeatable benefits.  The following is an example of Infinity’s approach, which insures customer satisfaction through project completion that is on time and within budget.

The Infinity approach is simple:

  • Establish Goals
  • Plan
  • Test
  • Pilot
  • Deploy

Establish Goals – The project team and business process owners agree on the business case for the initiative and elements to be included in implementation.

Planning is one of the most important functions we perform.  We define the project team and overall objectives through collaboration with our clients. In this step, we also provide information about how to develop and implement a plan for successful deployment.

Test - Any Realistic scenario benefits from a test environment that simulates the production environment. In a test environment, we verify assumptions, uncover deployment problems, optimize deployment design, and improve understanding of technology. This reduces the risk of errors and minimizes downtime in the production environment during and after deployment.

Pilot - A pilot reduces the risk of problems during full-scale deployment. The primary purpose of a pilot is to demonstrate that the design works as expected in the production environment and that it meets the defined business requirements. A secondary purpose is that the pilot gives the installation team a chance to practice and refine the deployment process.

Deploy - A smooth transition from pilot to production is planned in this step. Our goal is to deploy successfully and efficiently, with minimum interruption to users, the network, and the core business functions of the organization.
